Best parks to see it: Widespread

Fairly common in bush, woodland and cultivations up to 6,500 ft (2,000 m). Spread all over the country except at the Lake Turkana basin. Frequently perches on poles or shrubs, from where it watches its prey: terrestrial invertebrates, small lizards, and even birds.
